China leading smart devices manufacturer Xiaomi has teamed up with American leading toy manufacturer Hasbro to create a tablet that turns into a Transformer.
This special edition toy appears to transform from Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 2 into the Decepticon Soundwave. Most notable are the Decepticon Soundwave and the Autobot Blaster, both of home transformed into cassette tape players popular in that era.

The 7mm tablet turns into a Transformer through a 30-step folding process.
Dimensions of this special edition are exact to the real Mi Pad 2, which has a 7.9 screen. Xiaomi’s R&D worked really hard to ensure that the color, details and feel are exactly the same as Mi Pad 2.
Transformers fans in China will be able to get this toy for 169 Chinese yuan via the crowdfunding platform with Xiaomi.
