After a stroll at Punggol Waterway, I brought my family to the Punggol Settlement where we had our dinner at Jing Long Seafood Restaurant (金隆海鲜菜馆). The restaurant was first established in 1999 by 3 good friends who loved food. From then just a Chinese hawker stall at Bedok till now their 2nd outlet at The Punggol Settlement.
Overall, the food was pretty good at decent Zhi Char restaurant prices (average S$10-16 per standard dishes which can serves 3-4 pax). Service was excellent and the restaurant is well air conditioned and clean.
We had Sri Lanka crabs (S$50/kg) and they were very fresh. The only complain was the spiciness did not meet up to our expectation. For chilli lovers, you can inform the chef in advance to up the spiciness level.
The double boiled chicken soup with clam was so tasty that we had to ordered extra serving.
