Earth Hour on Earth Day – everyone around the world does their very bit | Insights | World

It’s one very day which various individuals and corporate entities round the world express concerted effort to demonstrate their support towards Green movements and their remembrance of Mother Nature by dimming the lights during Earth Hour on Earth Day (26th March 2011). Specifically, the significance is even greater when we take moments to pray for safety and fast recovery for those who are affected by the Japan Earthquake 2011. It serves to promptly remind us, no matter how technologically advanced we are, we are still at the mercy of Mother Earth.

On lighter note, it was a splendid sight with great cities dimming the lights on this special day and hour.
